Very much enjoyed a workshop with Helle Jorgensen at Byron School of Art which focused on using stitch as a drawing method.
Practiced embroidery stitches, some I have not done for a very long time and others that I am a bit more familiar with.
Inspired by the workshop, in the studio today I made the following two works.
After many, many months of not having a studio space I have finally created a lovely space in my new home in Northern NSW. Hopefully this means my productivity will rise!

leading female artists and emerging newcomers have combined once again for the annual She exhibition at Dandenong’s Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre.
The annual event to mark International Women’s Day features a wide range of artworks from female artists from across the country.
Two winning artists will be awarded solo exhibitions for 2016 at Walker Street Gallery and our partner gallery, Burrinja Cultural Centre.
Join us on Thursday 5 March, 6.30pm for the exhibition opening and the announcement of the winners.
Special guests on the night include artist Lewis Miller, musician Noriko Tadano and Greater Dandenong Mayor Sean O'Reilly.
